Embrace White Cane Safety Day: Navigating a Brighter Path Together

Beyond Blindness will provide free vision screenings and provide resources.
Blind Fold obstacle course: Immerse yourself in an eye-opening experience as you engage in our unique blindfold obstacle course. Walk a mile in the shoes of those with visual impairments and gain insights into the challenges they face daily. This activity encourages empathy, understanding, and a fresh perspective.
About the play partner: Beyond Blindness Established in 1962, Beyond Blindness is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering children with visual impairments and other disabilities to achieve their full potential. They offer a wide range of services and resources, including early intervention, individual therapy services, early childhood classrooms, education by Teachers of the Visually Impaired and Orientation and Mobility Specialists, assistive technology, and enrichment activities. The organization serves more than 300 children with visual impairments and other disabilities each year as well as their families.
