Bill joined William Lyon Homes in November 1997. Prior to being named Executive Chairman and Chairman of the Board in March 2016, he held the positions of Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, Director of Corporate Development, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, President and Chief Operating Officer, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman. Also, he served in 2008 as President of the subsidiary mortgage company, William Lyon Financial. Bill holds a dual B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Product Design from Stanford University. Carl Tong
Carl Tong is a global ultra high net worth private banker, strategic investor, and restauranteur. He is a passionate connector of dots for his clients and loves to see people winning together. An entrepreneur and creative at heart, he also finds great joy in supporting/investing in early-stage startups and through the creation of his innovative restaurant concepts in Southern California. Outside of Carls involvement as a Board Member for Pretend City, he has also served previously on the Selection Committee for EvoNexus and on the Board for the Asian Pacific Community Fund.
