Week of the Young Child

Join us for a fun-filled week celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers, families and communities!
We promote high-quality early learning and understand the critical role early childhood educators play in a child’s development and learning.
Story Time (11 am & 2:30 pm):
Live Your Own Way by Alana Stott
Purpose: This story empowers children to be unique and take risks! Week of the young child is all about empowering children and supporting them in finding their own unique interests. This story supports those messages.
About the play partner: Alana Stott, MBE is a philanthropist and true multi-hyphenate with a unique list of professional achievements that include sales professional, bodyguard, Mrs. Scotland, CEO, writer, and producer. She is the founder of Wolfraven Inc., a media platform that shares inspirational stories while advocating for causes that improve the world.
Stott has also written her inspirational memoirs, “She Who Dares;” and the game-changing business and philanthropy book, “How to Askfor Money”
Alana and her husband, Dean, have 3 children and reside in California. Alana was awarded The Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) for her service to vulnerable women and mental health awareness on the Kings New Years Honors list 2023.
