Mad Hatter Day
October 6, 2022

Art: In true Mad Hatter fashion, our youngest citizens will have a chance to become hatters themselves! Using scissors, glue, colorful paper, and paper tubes, you can bend and shape top hats, fold sailor hats, or even create helmets! Splash and sling colorful paint onto paper, and embrace your inner silliness! Time for tea at our very merry unbirthday party! Grab a tea cup and a sandwich and let the party begin in our sensory bin!
Purpose: These activities will encourage children to think outside the box and tap into their creativity. They will encourage teamwork and social skills, and will also teach them about cause and effect while improving their scissor skills.
