Celebrate Rainbow Families: Pride Month

Thursdays in June 

Celebrate Pride  and the history of the vibrant LGBT Q + community this June  through  a collection of children’s  stories that encourage kindness , compassion, & understanding, while also sharing the varied exp erie nces  of children with LGB TQ+ identities and families. 

• Sensational Storytime (11:00 am and 2 pm) : Gather round Orange Plaza as we read exciting stories that celebrate our Rainbow families and encourage allyship and pos i tive identity  expression . 

Grown-up Tip :  Talk to your child about how  there is a range of identities and experiences to be had. When referencing  LGBTQ+  history, there’s no need to go into great detail, but rather make it about embracing differences and finding commonalit ies.
