Science (11am – 12pm):
- BubblePOP is coming to Pretend City to engage in an interactive workshop for our guests based around the science of bubbles! This engaging lesson will run about 30 minutes! Following the science behind bubbles presentation, BubblePOP will support children in a full body bubble experience where they will be encompassed by a bubble! Children will also engage in smoke bubbles and see how dry ice and bubbles mix!
Purpose of the Play: Young children can engage and interact with bubbles – promoting visual tracking, fine motor skills, and hand-eye and foot-eye coordination. For the busy adult, did you know bubbles are a known stress reliever?
About the Play Partner: BubblePOP is a growing private company who specializes in taking bubbles to the next level of fun. They focus on STEAM starting at a young age and bridge the gap between learning and play!

Grown-up Tip: T he transitions to bath time, (just like other times of the day), that are not consistently planned and/or communicated will be a battle, be unsafe, or add to the chaos of a family’s day. Bedtime routines, for example, are important for winding down, consistency, and bonding time. Use bath time to make the evening special by asking about your child’s day and what they are looking forward to the rest of the week. It can also be a time to vent and express that some days are harder than others.
