Family Autism Night : For Our Neurodiverse Community

Join us for a special event that provides a sensitive environment for our neurodiverse community including children on the A utism S pectrum, as well as children with disabilities, and their families. With the help of our c ommunity p lay p artners, and Pretend City’s experienced and educated team, discover different activities while exploring the museum and learning to interact with peers.
Purpose Behind the Play: Personal social interaction, fine motor skills, creative thinking, executive function, sensory stimulation, and musical expression.
Time: 5:00p.m.-7:30 p.m.
- Art Studio Sessions (5-7:30pm) : Join us in the Art Studio as we explore your child’s creative side!
Specifically for: Families with children of all ages who are on the autism spectrum or have a disability, as well as therapists and behavioral coaches.
This special evening is an opportunity for children and their parents/siblings/caretakers to have some fun in an autism-friendly environment along with other families. Many of our community partners, who specialize in supporting children on the autism spectrum, will be on-hand to enrich your family’s play experience with welcoming smiles and practical support.
