Pretend City Citizens, have no fear! Our superheroes are here!
Smart Art (on-going):
- Active Accessories! > Today in the Art Studio we’re creating our very own Superhero Accessories including masks and capes!
Sensational Storytime in Orange Plaza (11 AM & 2:30 PM):
- Even Superheroes Have Bad Days > I t’s ok to have a difficult day and everyone experiences one from time to time. This book gives children other ways to express their feelings of frustration, anger and sadness and how to navigate through in a positive way.
Music & Movement (directly following Storytime):
- Train like a Superhero > Did you know that superheroes are physically fit ? Superheroes need to be fit so they will be able to help when someone needs assistance!
Grown-up Tip: Discuss with your child or family what everyone’s superhero power would be. Together you could draw pictures of them or create a family superhero book. It would be fun to make costumes as well! Sometimes we need to go to that imaginative place.
