Pretend City has always held a special place in our hearts. For six years, our daughter, Nicole, dedicated her time as a volunteer in various capacities—serving on the Youth Leadership Council, assisting children as they explored the exhibits, and helping with administrative tasks. During that time, we often brought her younger sister, Carly, to discover the magic of Pretend City. Now, eight years later, Carly has followed in her sister’s footsteps and is a proud volunteer herself! She loves helping children learn, grow, and play in this inspiring space.
Our admiration for Pretend City extends beyond volunteering. As passionate supporters of its mission to provide real-world learning experiences through play, Carl’s company, Kairos Investment Management Company, has proudly sponsored Pretend City’s Annual Poker Fundraiser.
Pretend City offers a unique and enjoyable learning environment for young children, with engaging exhibits like the Store, Café, and Doctor’s Office. By partnering with the community, Pretend City also connects families with essential resources to support their educational journeys.
