I decided to donate to Pretend City initially because I love to support my friends and the causes near and dear to them. I may not be able to give large sums of money, but I really enjoy giving my time. My initial contribution was volunteering at Pretend City’s Annual Poker Tournament. It is a fun event and a great way to get involved and learn more about Pretend City’s mission, purpose and vision for the future. It is an added bonus that my company gives me time to volunteer, as well as matching my donations.
The most important work of Pretend City is for families to experience learning alongside children, offering interactive activities, and accessibly for working parents!
As a new grandparent I am especially excited about the new vision and expansive space that is planned for Pretend City.
I cannot wait to experience Pretend City with my granddaughter and family.
